I'll admit-- one of the hardest things for me to see is God's love in the midst of hardships. But time and time again, God has shown Himself faithful to me. I love this song, because it describes all the emotions one feels when in the "desert", but also declares the truth and reality of our lives as believers. Listen to it. Really meditate on the lyrics of the song. Something so true, that we often don't see.

ReplyDeletemy favorite lyric is "we know the pain reminds this that this in not, this is not our home"...so much peace in that knowledge!
no matter how hard things become for us, no matter what trials we face in this life, i know that i will spend eternity with my Savior! that is true peace! :)
I totally felt God leading me to sing this song as Special Music this morning in church...it has a huge meaning right now apparently that people need to hear. =) One of my favorite songs.
