So thankful God loves me.

The greatest commandment is simple.

"Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength." Deuteronomy 6:5

Unfortunately there has only been one person that was able to follow that: Jesus.

In fact the bible says :
"for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" Romans 2:23

Which is true.

If theres one thing we know about God, is that he is just.
And the bible tells us that:

"For the wages of sin is death..." Romans 6:23

And have you ever thought about God's wrath? Like legitly.

God is Just. The wages of sin is death.. we all have sinned.. fallen short.. gods wrath..
He's not going to look away at the sin we've committed. He's just. That'd be like letting a murder-er (haha i cant spell) go.

God is just. God's wrath is powerful. Because God's just we have to deal with that wrath on Judgment day.

But there's a key point.

God's love.

God loves us so much he sent his ONE and ONLY son that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Have you ever heard of the people, to show how "strong" they are, balance a brick on there chest, and someone else shows up with this huge hammer and busts the brick into pieces and the man under walks away just fine.

Now think about this. the hammer is gods wrath. we are the men. jesus is the brick.

Jesus died on the cross for us. He absorbs our sin. He absorbs gods wrath for us!

Now, aren't you glad god loves you?
Cause Im legitly glad he loves me.
